We employ 12 certified law enforcment officers (deputies) including the Chief Deputy and the Sheriff. These deputies patrol our roads every day. We conduct traffic enforcement, accident reporting and investigation, provide courtroom security, civil papers and investigate crimes from vandalism to domestic disturbances. Many times our deputies are the first faces you see when you are in an emergency situation. We do not have a detective bureau, deputies must know how to handle all investigations from start to finish. We work as a team to complete these tasks. 

We have worked with neighboring jurisdictions and drug task forces to combat the drug problems that our area sees. With the help of our K9s, our office has seized large quantities of illegal drugs over the last few years.
