Friends of the Florence County K9 Unit

Friends of K-9 UnitThe Florence County Sheriffs Office started its quest to have a K9 to help combat the drug epidemic in our area in 2019. With the overwhelming support of our community our office was able to introduce our first K9 to our county in 2020. In 2020 K9 Rambo joined our team with handler Deputy Eric Windell. In 2022 we were able to add a second K9 and K9 Rajzi joined forces with Deputy Nate Krueger.  The K9s have been a vital part of our office since 2019. Our K9s are completely funded by our community. Our fundraising efforts have grown over the last few years and a 501c was adopted in 2024. This group; The Friends of Florence County K9 unit are compromised of a board of dedicated family and community members that do a tremendous amount of work to support our K9s and our office.

Deputy Windell and Deputy Nate Krueger train our K9s and put in a lot of extra time and effort to have quality working dogs. We are very proud of this team and the Friends of the Florence County K9 unit.
