Mission Statement: Florence County Sheriffs Office is dedicated to provide a safe and secure community. This is done through local partnerships in an effort to build trust, reduce crime and enhance the quality of life for those that live here and visit.

- Provide effective and efficient law enforcement services.
- Work closely with local agencies such as our Health and Human Services, Forestry, county board, town boards and the school distirct of Florence County.
As your Sheriff, I take great pride in our community. As a life long resident of Florence County many things have changed over my 25 year career in law enforcement. I strive to have compassionate, dependable and fair employees. Our employees handle 911s calls with a calm voice and our deputies respond to those in need in a timely, professional and effecient manner. We want visitors to feel welcome here whether they are experiencing our awesome ATV and snowmobile trails or a boat ride with family in the summer. We are here to serve and protect you.
