Florence County Courthouse will be closed the following holidays:
New Years Day
Presidents' Day
Friday before Easter
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Day after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
New Year's Eve
If any of the above mentioned holidays falls on Saturday, it shall be observed the preceding Friday and if a holiday falls on Sunday, it shall be observed on the following Monday.

Aquatic Invasive Species to Look Out For
The following list includes verifies invasive species which have been located in nearby counties and/or in nearby Michigan waterbodies which pose the potential of coming into Florence County. If found or suspicion of being found please note where on a waterbody it was located, collect a sample if possible, and contact the Land Conservation Department for verification.- Spiny Water Flea-Forest County, Vilas County
