The provision of services to clients in a natural or supportive service setting for the purpose of enabling persons to obtain safe, healthful, and affordable housing. Services may include, but are not limited to: advocacy and referral to the Florence County Housing Office. Includes working with landlords and others to upgrade substandard housing, improving safety, preventing/reducing health hazards, and referring to existing resources for housing repairs. For those who are eligible, home modifications and improvements can sometimes be made with Community Options Program dollars if no other source is available.
 
USDA Rural Development 
Does your home need repairs? Would you like to purchase a home? USDA Rural Development has funding available to purchase and repair homes in eligible rural communities. Interest rates range between 1-3.75%. Grants for repairs are also available to income eligible households over the age of 62. CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Program
The Northwoods Housing Region has funds available from the state to provide individuals/ families with no interest loans for housing rehabilitation projects.  If you reside in Florence County and your household does not exceed the maximum income limits, you may be eligible.  Landlords are also eligible for rehabilitation loans used to improve housing for low to moderate income tenants.  For more information contact BG& Associates, LLC at 715-752-4620 or email at kgabrielson1@gmail.com
