Florence County Human Services Department is responsible for services in a broad area of economic support, child and family, services to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, with mental illness, and with substance abuse problems. Various services can be funded with several funding sources, depending on the individuals eligibility.
The Florence County Human Services Department is dedicated to enriching lives, promoting self-reliance, strengthening individuals and family functioning, and fostering a nurturing climate within the community by providing leadership, direction, support, and services through the effective and efficient use of economic and human resources.
