The ADRC of Florence County offers transportation services Monday-Friday for older adults and adults living with a disability throughout Florence County. Transportation for all others in on an availibility basis.
Services are offered Monday-Friday by appointment. Medical transportation is a priority. Please contact the ADRC for route information before you schedule your medical appointment. All trips are scheduled in an attempt to accommodate as many riders as possible. In general, trips are scheduled to take place between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Travel between the hours of 10:30 am to 1:00 pm is generally reserved for the Senior Nutrition Program. Please allow a minimum of 48 hours advance notice to the ADRC.
Transportation runs are scheduled weekly for medical, shopping, banking, and other personal needs. Routes are adjusted on a daily basis for maximum flexibility in meeting the requests received. Fares are suggested based on destination and distance traveled.
Transportation is not available after regular courthouse hours, nor on weekends or holidays.
Adults under 60 who do not have a mobility issue may also utilize local-area transportation, as resources and availability allow. Please call to learn more.

Veyo the Non-emergency MA Transportation Provider
Veyo is the non-emergency medical transportation services for certain Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus members.

Special Instructions for Nursing Home Residents and Staff:
Medical rides for persons covered by Medical Assistance who live in a nursing home will not be provided by the MA Transportation Provider. Nursing Homes need to provide or arrange for transportation for their residents.
