Our trail climbs beautiful Keyes Peak Ski Hill. A concrete path starts at Keyes Peak Lodge that leads to a series of wooden steps. Your treat for reaching the top of the hill….. is the picturesque view! You can view Keyes Lake, the Keyes Peak Lodge, and surrounding hardwood forest – it’s simply breathtaking! Enjoy exercising, hiking, picnicking, photography and bird watching…etc. You can climb to the top of the hill at your own pace. So if you are looking to get some fresh air or to get your heart pumping….THIS IS PERFECT! Picnic tables are available so you can enjoy a snack or nice lunch. It’s a workout!!! The Florence High School sport teams use this walkway as one of their training sites. We have lots of parking on Keyes Recreation Lane located off of Highway 101 or at the Keyes Peak Lodge. You can also utilize the ATV trail which is adjacent to the ski hill. What are you waiting for??? Get your steps in and crush that goal!!! |
