General Information LandShark  Welcome to the Florence County Register of Deeds Office.  We are pleased to offer the latest technology for your information and convenience.  Our recording and tract index system is available either through this internet site or in our office.  Our electronic tract index and images date back to 1949. You can access Landshark by clicking on the link above. For occasional users; click on "New User" and creat an account, you will be able to search and purchase document images with a credit card. When you attempt to view and download an image, it will request your card information. It will preauthorize $50.00 on your card, but you will not be charged $50.00, You will be charged the statutory cost for the documents, which is $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page, plus a $5.00 convenience fee during that login session. For daily users; you may want to establish an escrow account and maintain a positive balance in order to pay for the fees related to this site. To get started you will need to complete and send to our office the Landshark Account User Agreement and User Information forms below along with a check for $25.00 or more to start the escrow account. The search and tract information is available at no cost, but when you "download" and view an image, the cost is the statutory fee of $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page.
